Leaf Gutter Guard
The existing Gutter Leaf Guard was in very poor condition and likely contributed to the problems with the roof leaks.We installed new Stainless Steel Bushfire Rated leaf gutter guard to the valley and the eaves gutters.
Guttering Replacement
We replaced the existing gutters as they were quite rusty from being full of leaves.
The new gutter is Colorbond High Top Queensland Quad.
Roof Screws
The roofing screws were rusty and were causing leaks.
We replaced the old roof screws with new Roof Screws with Neoprene Washers.
Roof Painting
The roof was painted with Shield Coat Roof Bond which is our premium roof membrane which comes with 12 year manufactures warranty when applied with Nano Coat as we did on this home.
Roof Vents
We replaced the existing seized whirlybirds with new Bushfire rated Spinaway Whirlybirds which have stainless steel mesh to prevent embers entering the roof space.
Conclusion
The roof and rainwater guttering system on this established home has been revitalised and will continue to protect this house for years to come. New Gutters and Leaf Guard will help to prevent overflowing and Painting the Roof with Roof Membrane and Rust Shield will ensure the roof lasts longer. Replacing the roof screws with new screws prevents water ingress and ceiling damage.
