The Patio Roof on this pre war home at Alderley.THE OLD LEAKY ROOFThe existing Sunroom Roof was leaking and this was causing mould and other problems on the ceiling.The existing roof had the wrong kind of roof sheeting that wasnt designed for the low pitch of the flat roof.The existing box gutter was undersized and rusty, it had a large hole in it.FIXING THE LEAKSTo fix this leaky roof we checked the design of the box gutter and increased the size to meet Australian Standards.We replaced the roof sheeting with Kliplok which can be laid at 1 degrees pitch which is almost flat.We also added a barge cap to finish the roof of neatly.The new box gutter has a sump and overflow with a rain head.
